Philippine Airlines (PAL) launched its 2026 Ultimate Seat Sale from August 24 to 30, offering discounts on fares for travel across domestic and international routes through early 2027, the airline announced.

Discounts of up to 40 percent apply to domestic base fares and up to 35 percent on international base fares for trips between September 16, 2026, and January 31, 2027. Greater savings of up to 60 percent on domestic fares and 45 percent on international fares are available for travel from February 1, 2027, onward, according to multiple sources.

The week-long sale covers PAL’s extensive network, including destinations across the Philippines, Asia, North America, Australia, the Middle East, and the Pacific.

PAL has introduced Daily Voucher Drops during the sale, releasing a new promo code each day to apply on top of discounted fares, enhancing savings opportunities. Redemption guides and offer mechanics are posted on the airline’s official social media channels, as reported by insiderph.com.

The airline also expanded payment options for eligible domestic bookings by adding UnionBank to its installment partners alongside BPI, HSBC, and Metrobank. Qualified cardholders can avail installment plans of up to three months, with HSBC cardholders eligible for terms extending to six months.

According to nomadlawyer.org, PAL’s 2026 promotional strategy aims to aggressively capture market share across Asia, Australia, and North America by layering anniversary, seasonal, and regional flash sales. This approach maintains full-service amenities while using deep discounts to fill capacity on its network of 31 domestic and 39 international destinations.

The airline’s promotional calendar includes previous sales such as the 85th Anniversary Seat Sale in March, the Freedom Seat Sale in June, and the July Flash Sale, all designed to sustain passenger traffic during shoulder seasons.

PAL is leveraging hubs in Manila, Cebu, Clark, and Davao to connect travelers globally, including multi-city itineraries pairing popular Philippine island destinations with major international hubs like Tokyo, Seoul, and Los Angeles.

Earlier, PAL signed a memorandum of understanding with Boeing to acquire up to 20 widebody 787-10 Dreamliners and purchased new Rolls-Royce engines for nine new long-haul planes from Airbus, as reported by abs-cbn.com.

The Ultimate Seat Sale is available through PAL’s website, mobile app, hotline, ticketing offices, and authorized travel agents.
