Netflix Premieres Beauty in Black Season 3 on August 27

Netflix premieres the eight-episode third season of Tyler Perry's drama series Beauty in Black on August 27, 2026. The new season follows the fallout from the Bellarie family empire that previously resulted in several high-profile arrests.

The drama focuses on Kimmie, played by Taylor Polidore Williams, who secures a position within the Bellarie family business. As a lethal feud emerges, Kimmie forms an alliance with Mallory, portrayed by Crystle Stewart, to navigate blackmail and revenge within the cosmetics dynasty.

Cast members had previously assumed the show concluded before receiving notification of the renewal, which arrives ahead of an already confirmed fourth season.

"I was definitely surprised and excited," said Crystle Stewart, actor.

Stewart explained that bringing Mallory to life required drawing from personal life experiences rather than relying solely on the script to portray the character's emotions and motivations during intense scenes.

"It makes you want to learn more about it," said Crystle Stewart, actor.

Discussing the personality of her character heading into the third season, Stewart identified a specific track that reflects Mallory's demeanor.

"Yeah, that's the theme song for Mallory, for sure," said Crystle Stewart, actor.

All eight episodes of Season 3 stream simultaneously on Netflix, joining the previous 16 episodes from the first two seasons on the service.
