Beauty in Black Season 3 Premieres on Netflix with New Format

The third season of the television series Beauty in Black premieres on Thursday, August 27, 2026, exclusively on Netflix. The new season breaks the previous release pattern by delivering all eight episodes at once, starting at 3 a.m. ET.

Seasons 1 and 2 each had 16 episodes split into two parts released months apart, but Netflix reversed plans and ordered a fourth season following the announcement of Season 3 as the last. Tyler Perry, who created, wrote, and directed the series, filmed Season 3 in just six days.

The latter half of Season 2 recorded 57.7 million hours watched in a week and ranked number one in the United States, according to Netflix data.

Netflix released the first few minutes of Season 3's opening episode, which immediately sets off intense drama, signaling a fast start for viewers.

The cast includes Taylor Polidore Williams as Kimmie, Crystle Stewart as Mallory Bellarie, Ricco Ross as Horace Bellarie, Debbi Morgan as Olivia Bellarie, and Richard Lawson as Norman Bellarie, among others.

Past release dates show Season 1 launched in two parts on October 24, 2024, and March 6, 2025, while Season 2 followed with parts released on September 11, 2025, and March 19, 2026.
