NBA 2K27 Reveals Top 100 Player Ratings Including Gilgeous-Alexander and Wembanyama

NBA 2K27 has unveiled its top 100 player ratings ahead of the game's September 4 release, highlighting Shai Gilgeous-Alexander, Victor Wembanyama, and Nikola Jokic as the highest-rated players with an overall rating of 97.

Shai Gilgeous-Alexander, who plays for the Oklahoma City Thunder, earned his second consecutive MVP by averaging 31.1 points and 6.6 assists while leading the league’s best record at 64-18, according to Bleacher Report.

Victor Wembanyama, the San Antonio Spurs star, avoided injury setbacks from the previous season and contributed 25.0 points, 11.5 rebounds, and 3.1 blocks. His performance helped the Spurs reach their first NBA Finals since 2014, as reported by NBA.com.

Nikola Jokic of the Denver Nuggets matched their rating with a triple-double average, scoring 27.7 points per game and leading the league in rebounds and assists with 12.9 and 10.7 respectively.

NBA 2K27’s top ten includes Luka Dončić (96), Jalen Brunson (96), Giannis Antetokounmpo (96), Anthony Edwards (95), Cade Cunningham (94), Stephen Curry (93), and Kevin Durant (93), according to NBA.com and Bleacher Report.

Los Angeles Lakers center Walker Kessler rounds out the list at No. 100 with an 81 overall rating, marking the full span of the top 100 player rankings for this edition.

Aside from the latest ratings, historical data compiled by HoopsHype shows that LeBron James holds the highest average rating in NBA 2K history at 95.42 across 24 seasons, followed by Kobe Bryant at 94.94 and Tim Duncan at 93.35.

Kevin Durant ranks fifth all-time with an average rating of 92.35, while Luka Dončić is fourth with 92.44, reflecting their consistent performance ratings over multiple NBA 2K editions.

The NBA 2K27 game will be available on PlayStation 5, Xbox Series X|S, PC, and Nintendo Switch starting September 4, 2026.
