Nate Bargatze Launches No Pictures Film and Television Label

Stand-up comedian Nate Bargatze has launched No Pictures, a new film and television production label designed to develop darker and more mature stories, as reported by Deadline on August 24, 2026.

The move expands Bargatze beyond his traditional clean-cut image while his existing venture, Nateland Entertainment, continues to produce family-friendly programming. The new brand takes its name from a phrase his daughter Harper used to say when she was younger.

Former Scott Rudin Productions, Fox Searchlight Pictures, and Universal executive Lawrence Grey has joined the expanding venture as Chief Content Officer. Grey will oversee operational strategy across both the No Pictures label and Nateland Entertainment.

Bargatze emphasized the executive's industry track record when outlining the expansion.

"Lawrence has developed some of the biggest movies in the world," said Bargatze, Founder of No Pictures.

Bargatze noted that Grey excels at transforming early concepts into fully realized production slates.

"He knows how to bring great ideas to life," Bargatze said, hinting that "surprises are on the way."

Grey's previous executive portfolio includes feature films such as Juno, Lights Out, Yes Day, Pain Hustlers, Family Switch, and The Man with the Bag starring Arnold Schwarzenegger and Alan Ritchson. Alongside the launch of No Pictures, Nateland Entertainment is currently moving forward with the comedy film Fantasy Camp at Amazon MGM/UA and the adult animated series Nateville at Netflix.

Addressing the company's long-term corporate direction, the newly appointed Chief Content Officer outlined his strategic vision for the expanding business.
