Sydney Sweeney Performs Airplane Wing-Walking Stunt in Video

Actress Sydney Sweeney posted a video on social media on August 24, 2026, showing herself strapped to the top of a single-engine airplane while performing stunt maneuvers upside down in mid-air.

The Euphoria star recorded the aerial stunt using a GoPro camera while standing on top of the moving aircraft. The pilot performed multiple barrel rolls and loops as Sweeney remained attached to the plane's exterior during flight.

Sweeney directly referenced Hollywood actor Tom Cruise, who is known for performing his own aviation stunts, in her post caption.

The official Instagram page for the Top Gun film franchise responded directly to the posted footage.

The flight follows a series of outdoor activities Sweeney shared from her summer trip with Scooter Braun. The getaway included a tandem bungee jump in New Zealand, a trip to Mallorca, and a superhero-themed gathering where Sweeney dressed in a Wonder Woman-inspired costume alongside Braun in a Superman costume.

Sweeney gained early recognition for her roles in The Handmaid's Tale and Sharp Objects in 2018 before starring in Euphoria and The White Lotus. Her upcoming projects include the tragicomedy film The Custom of the Country, directed by Josie Rourke and based on the 1913 novel by Edith Wharton.
