Kim Kardashian and Ye Celebrate North West Cover Debut

Celebrities Kim Kardashian and Ye publicly celebrated their 13-year-old daughter North West following her feature on the Autumn 2026 cover of Dazed magazine. Photos for the feature were taken by filmmaker Gus Van Sant.

The feature followed the release of North West's debut EP, N0rth4evr, earlier in the year. The cover story interview was conducted by Marios Mystidis, accompanied by a visual photo session overseen by Van Sant.

Ye shared the cover image alongside the complete photo series from the shoot on his Instagram Stories. Kardashian posted the photos on X, affectionately referring to her daughter as "Northie" to express her pride.

During the interview, North West discussed her musical ambitions and her commitment to building a career in the industry.

"To start my career later," North West said regarding the worst piece of advice she had received. "It’s like, nah, this is my hobby, this is what I like to do, this is what I wanna do with my life."

She noted that she rehearses daily to follow in her father's footsteps as a musician. North West also recalled meeting artist Lil Uzi Vert, citing their album Pink Tape as a major creative catalyst.

"When I first heard it I was like, ‘Oh my gosh!’" North West said. "And people were hating on it for no reason. That’s what inspired my EP too.

When I heard that, I was like, “Wow, this is life-changing.” I told [them] that Pink Tape changed my life."

Additionally, North West identified the Vocaloid digital character Hatsune Miku as her personal twin during the interview. The publication marks her latest major media appearance following her initial music releases.
