Gasperini Hands Lulli Roma Debut as Club Launches Gold Coins

AS Roma defender Emanuele Lulli made his Serie A debut on August 24, 2026, starting on the right flank against Fiorentina as the club simultaneously launched an official physical gold coin collection with new Gold Partner Orodei.

Manager Gian Piero Gasperini named the 2007-born youth product to the starting lineup following a muscle issue for Rensch and recovery delays for 18 million euro signing Nahuel Molina. Lulli had previously logged 33 appearances, two goals, and nine assists for Roma's Primavera squad in the 2024–25 season.

Gasperini praised the young defender's progress during the preseason preparations.

"Lulli is doing well, he is very young and will be part of the squad. He will follow his path. He has shown he can be part of the team," said Gian Piero Gasperini, AS Roma head coach.

Off the pitch, the club partnered with bullion dealer Orodei to open online presales for five 24-karat (999.9/1000) gold investment coins on the Orodei24 platform, marking the lead-up to AS Roma's centenary. The coins feature historical club iconography, including the "ASR" monogram and the Capitoline Wolf shield, available in 1 OZ, 50g, 20g, 10g, and 5g options.

Orodei leadership highlighted the initiative as both a community connection and an asset protection move for supporters.
