Amazon MGM Studios released the trailer for the high-stakes action thriller The Runner on August 20, 2026, featuring Gal Gadot in the lead role ahead of its exclusive Prime Video premiere on September 2, 2026.

Directed by Oscar-winning filmmaker Kevin Macdonald from a screenplay by Mark Gibson, the 84-minute film follows Maia Marten, a London attorney whose son is kidnapped during a morning run. To secure his release, she is forced by a mysterious caller to execute an assassination tied to one of her legal cases while traversing London under constant surveillance.

Damian Lewis stars as the antagonist orchestrating the plot, alongside a principal cast including Alfred Enoch, Rory Wilmot, Aaron Gill, Pierre Bergman, and Millicent Wong.
