Anonymous AI Model Ox Alpha Draws Spike in Developer Usage

A high-capacity artificial intelligence model named Ox Alpha gained widespread traction among software engineers after appearing on the OpenRouter platform on August 20, 2026, though its creator remains completely anonymous.

The stealth release provides free processing access with a context window exceeding one million tokens, supporting text, image, and video inputs while rejecting audio processing requests.
