Samantha Busch, widow of NASCAR champion Kyle Busch, marked three months since his passing on August 21, 2026, by sharing personal photos and memories of her late husband.

Kyle Busch died on May 21 at age 41 due to sepsis following severe pneumonia. Samantha posted on Instagram, expressing her deep loss and recalling their family life with their two children, Brexton, 11, and Lennix, 4.

She wrote, "I still can't believe it's been three months without you," alongside photos of family moments and adventures. Samantha described missing "doing life as a family," the way their daughter Lennix softened Kyle’s demeanor, and his pride in coaching their son Brexton.

In another post, Samantha shared, "I miss every single thing about my love," emphasizing the personal nature of her grief with a photo of her kissing Kyle’s forehead.

On August 24, Samantha spoke publicly for the first time since Kyle’s death at The Carlos Rodón Foundation’s Third Annual Willow Gala, where she received the Seeds of Hope Award in recognition of their foundation, The Bundle of Joy Fund.

"Losing him has been the greatest heartbreak of my life," Samantha said at the gala. She acknowledged the difficulty of continuing their shared mission without him but found strength in her faith and the foundation’s work.

She added, "Every grant we give, every positive pregnancy test, every heartbeat, every baby placed into the arms of parents who wondered if that moment would ever come, Kyle is still a part of that." The foundation supports fertility treatments, reflecting a deeply personal cause for the couple.

Samantha highlighted Kyle’s enduring legacy through their children, his racing career, and charitable efforts. "But I hope this is part of how people remember him, too: Not just for the champion he was, but for his heart, his generosity, and for the more than 113 babies born because of this mission he cared so deeply about," she said.

She also thanked Ashley and Carlos Rodón for their foundation’s work, which raised over $1 million to expand IVF and fertility treatment access at the gala.

Since Kyle’s passing, Samantha has shared her grief candidly on social media. On July 26, she revealed the loneliness she feels in her home and the comfort she finds in memories, saying, "I sleep tucked on my side of the bed with a body pillow and his shirt pretending he's still next to me." She added, "I hate it so much that his shirt doesn't smell like him anymore."
