PlayStation Plus September 2026 Monthly Games Leak Online

Sony will offer Sniper Elite: Resistance, Chained Echoes, and Wobbly Life to PlayStation Plus Essential subscribers from September 1 to October 6, 2026, according to details leaked by industry insider billbil-kun on Dealabs ahead of Sony's scheduled announcement. The upcoming monthly lineup features last year's stealth-based tactical shooter Sniper Elite: Resistance as the main title, placing players behind the long gun barrel of a British operative infiltrating Nazi-occupied Europe in 1944. IGN gave the title a 6/10 rating in its review of the game.

"A solid stealth-based shooter," wrote IGN reviewer in their assessment of Sniper Elite: Resistance.

The media outlet added further context regarding the game's overall performance and execution. "It fails to set its sights high enough in order to pull off a truly spectacular execution," IGN added.

Joining the tactical shooter is Chained Echoes, a classic Japanese role-playing game-inspired title originally released in 2022 that draws heavy influence from retro classics like Secret of Mana, Chrono Trigger, and Final Fantasy 4. The final game in the September Essential tier is Wobbly Life, a colorful open-world sandbox launched last year that allows players to complete jobs, earn money, and buy houses alongside friends in multiplayer mode.

Subscribers have until September 1 to claim August's free games, which include Dying Light 2 Stay Human: Reloaded Edition, Signalis, and Big Walk. Meanwhile, several titles including Persona 5 Tactica, Shadowrun Returns, and Madden NFL 26 are scheduled to leave the PS Plus Extra and Premium tiers in mid-September.
