Omega Redesigns Speedmaster 38 Collection With Classic Moonwatch Aesthetics

Omega introduced seven updated Speedmaster 38mm models on August 25, 2026, overhauling its midsize chronograph lineup with design language heavily inspired by the classic Speedmaster Professional Moonwatch.

The redesign replaces the previous generation's oval subdials with traditional round recessed subdials and introduces a wider bezel with a dot-over-ninety tachymeter scale. The collection includes three all-steel models, two bi-metal variants featuring solid gold accents, and two luxury options with diamond-set bezels.

Among the new releases, the entry-level steel model with a matte black dial omits the date window and operates on the Omega Caliber 3332 automatic chronograph movement. This black-dial model carries a retail price of $6,500, while other variants in the lineup reach up to $13,100. All models retain the 14.75mm case thickness and 100-meter water resistance rating of the line.

Simultaneously, Longines refreshed its Master Collection by introducing a new 41mm monopusher chronograph in blue and silver dial options, along with an updated triple-calendar moonphase chronograph priced at $4,250.
