Canada Defeats Panama 3-2 in Extra-Inning LLWS Elimination Match

Canada eliminated Panama from the Little League World Series with a 3-2 victory in seven innings on August 24, 2026, at Volunteer Stadium in Williamsport, Pennsylvania. The win moves Canada into another elimination game against South Korea.

The international matchup remained scoreless through six regulation innings as both starting pitchers dominated. Panama starter Obed Fuentes struck out 12 batters while holding Canada hitless across six innings. In other Monday elimination action, Great Lakes defeated Southwest 6-1, behind two RBI from Zach Hilton and 4.2 scoreless innings from pitcher Bob Frazier. Japan also advanced by defeating Europe-Africa 3-2, propelled by two home runs from Yunosuke Yabe and a solo home run from Takeru Yorozu.

Canada advances to play South Korea in an elimination game, while Great Lakes moves on to face Metro, and Japan prepares to play Mexico.
