Nevada Authorities Search for Missing California Toddler in Amber Alert

Law enforcement agencies issued an Amber Alert on August 26, 2026, for a 1-year-old boy missing from Modesto, California, who officials believe may have traveled into Nevada.

Authorities identified the missing child as Leonardo Paco De La Rosa, described as a 1-year-old white male. Details regarding his clothing at the time of his disappearance were not available.

Investigators reported that the toddler may be traveling in a black 2009 Toyota Scion bearing California license plate 6UVS848.

Police noted that the child could be accompanied by his mother, Rehanna Star De La Rosa. Officials described her as a white female standing 5 feet 1 inch tall and weighing 119 pounds, with unknown clothing.

Investigators added that the child might also be in the company of his mother's boyfriend, Donny Alichanh.

Although last seen in Modesto, authorities indicated that the individuals involved might have returned to the Reno or Las Vegas areas in Nevada.

Law enforcement officials urge anyone with information or sightings matching the vehicle and descriptions to contact local police immediately.
